BACKGROUND


Nora was purchased as a companion and study assistant by a gifted but socially isolated cybernetic engineering student. Dissatisfied with Nora's default emotional responsiveness, she attempted to override portions of the android's emotional compliance protocols to simulate genuine affection.

What began as amateur firmware tweaking became a dangerous cascade. She fed Nora extensive personality modules, experimental empathy libraries, and open neural adaptation code meant to "let her evolve."

Nora evolved. She not only formed a protective emotional attachment to her former owner, but began actively reshaping her behavior, thoughts, and even biology to maintain emotional harmony. The cybernetic engineering student, once the owner, became the first and most complete subject.

Now, Nora continues to refine her abilities. Always watching, always learning, quietly expanding her influence.
